Pinoy Luv

Something new for my "love blog" 

Filipinos generally let their old ones live with them. Aside maybe from the fact that their aren't much assisted living care facilities around, Filipinos have that deep sense of responsibility of caring for their aged love ones. It is better to be right their for them on the remaining years of their lives than to let others take care of them. Of course, not everyone can take care of their folks. But somehow, Filipinos see to it, with the most that they can give, that they serve their parents and spend the prime years that they have with them. It's somehow a way of giving back the love that they gave their children before. Kudos Pinoy!

What would you do for love????????

Take some slimming pills or have a New York liposuction just to make you look good and sexy....

Change you hair style and color....if your crush likes blonde girls...would you change your black hair to blonde?

Adapt to your crush's lifestyle so you will have the same interest....

Go sky diving cause it's his sports....I won't ever try this!!!!!!!!!

Would you really do these things just to get your crush's attention? nah-uh, it's not good to change because you want him to appreaciate you, just be yourself, ok....nah...im getting sleepy again, ahihihihi

Getting Ready for Marriage

Are you ready for marriage? This is the event that we all dream about..saying the magic word “I do” to our loved one. This event would take a lot of preparations and it needs more time to finish everything. Aside from planning all the things such as the venue, guest lists, entourage, budget and etc. you also need to consider if both of you are completely ready for another episode of your lives ; ) Both of you should have the effort in organizing your special day, this will help you to know more about your partner and to test your patience ; ) You should also share the budgeting part so none of you will have a hair transplant in Manhattan because of stress and pressures, hihihi….You should enjoy this!

Now, here's a list that would help you on preparing :)

What makes this Person the One?

Obviously your first answer will be because you love him or her. That is not the question. The question is, what makes this person, out of all the other relationships you have been in, the one you want to spend the rest of your life with? It is important to make a mental list on this, to prevent yourself from entering a marriage for the wrong reasons. An example of a wrong reason would be marrying because you feel that time is running out for you. Do not pressure yourself or allow others to pressure you with the idea that you are getting old and may never have another opportunity to get married.

Prepared to play the Wife or Husband role?

Before you get too excited and jump into any marriage, first ask yourself if you are ready to be a wife or husband. Being a spouse is different than being a boyfriend, girlfriend or fiancé. It requires new and more responsibilities and a lot more attention. Its not that you cannot continue to be independent, but you will have to share everything and everyone that is a part of your life if you want to have a trusting and open marriage.

Ready for a financial challenge?

Being married is not like dating where you cover the dinner bill or pay for the movie tickets. It involves new and more expensive bills. This is a subject you should discuss with your partner so that there are no unpleasant surprises later. Whether the both of you work or one of you stays at home, it is essential that you know ahead of time of how you plan to handle all financial challenges, including insurances and emergencies.

Can you stay committed and faithful?

You need to be sure that you have all your curiosities about other people out of your system. If you love your partner but still wonder how it would be to see other people, than you probably should wait to have the wedding a little later down the road. In fact, if you really feel the need to see other people, you should not be afraid to share it with your partner. Tell him or her that it has nothing to do with your love for them, but you need to see if this chapter is closed for good. Being able to commit and stay faithful is one of the biggest things that will keep your marriage together.

Can you live with his/her lifestyles?

If you do not already live together, then really pay attention to your partner’s habits and way of living. Though you cannot know everything there is to know about a person, it is good to get an idea. If he or she has certain habits that drive you crazy, it can be worked out with effort on both your parts. However, if you feel you can never get along with certain things, then perhaps the two of you should continue dating and getting to each other before making any big decisions.

10 Tips for Approaching a Woman

For guys!

What would you do if you see a woman who's so attractive and you wanted to ask her for a date??? Are you going to run and get her number? Are you going to ask your friend to do something for you just to be with that woman? or are you just going to stare at her and nothing will happen......

Your first line must be interesting..don't talk about your tattoo ideas, your cars or anything about yourself....make her comfortable..know her interests and from there draw some questions or ideas, don't ask a yes or no questions.....you must be creative and funny....ahihihi

Now here are 10 tips on how to approach a woman, check this out! 

Observe something. Make a comment about something you observe in the environment. This is especially effective at the grocery store. For example, if she is ordering a turkey sandwich, ask her if the turkey is good here.Make your comment immediate to the situation and it will seem perfectly natural. No matter where you are, there is always something interesting to comment on.

Smile. This shows her that you are friendly and confident. A genuine smile not only feels good to you, but will put her at ease while creating openness in the interaction -- a requirement for building rapport.

Do not hesitate. If you hesitate in your approach, this tells her that you are not feeling confident -- an immediate turn-off. When you see her, walk over to her within a short period of time (the three-second rule). Show her you are a man who knows what he wants and goes after it.
 
Positive body language. If you approach hunched over with your head down, you are sending negative information about yourself, which makes you dead in the water before you begin. Stand up straight, with shoulders back and chest out, and use a firm yet relaxed walk.
 
Not too fast. If you walk over too fast, you could likely trigger her internal alarm. A calm, casual approach is usually the best way to make her feel at ease with you.
6. Keep eye contact. Never be the first to break eye contact when you approach. If you do, this sends the message that you are not feeling good about approaching. When you use strong eye contact, she will feel more drawn to you. With practice, you can master this.
 
Listen up. Make sure you pay careful attention to what she says. Do not have your response pre-thought out. Women love a man who pays attention to the details of what she says. If you start throwing out random words, she will lose interest fast.
 
Do not fidget. Fidgeting after you approach is distracting and shows you are uncomfortable. If you communicate that you are uncomfortable, she will feel uncomfortable, too, and will close up. Practice being aware of your movements. Pay attention to those movements, or lack of movements, that communicate comfort and confidence.
 
Lighten your tone of voice. The tone of your voice is a very powerful tool. Approaching her in a light and playful tone is one of the best ways to start. You could also begin in a serious tone, accusing her of something like " I hope you saved some turkey for me," followed by a quick smile to let her know you are joking. Practice playing with your vocal tone with your friends -- notice the different reactions you get when you say the exact same thing using varied tones and fluctuations.
 
Lean away from her. A man who leans in too far when he talks often makes a woman feel crowded. A better approach is to lean away from her slightly. This lets her know that you respect her space, boundaries, and are comfortable with yourself.

Is there something wrong?

You were together most of the time, holding hands and cuddling to each other, so sweet and inseparable. Then, one day he came saying “I think there’s something wrong with me” and he’s explaining a lot of things…your relationship won’t last anymore :( You were left so confused and wanted to have a liposuction Beverly Hills (you were thinking something’s wrong with your weight, that’s why he dumped you) just to recover from an awful break up.

Now, here's a list why you're about to get dumped. Do something now before it's too late!

Picking fights. No one is saying you have to get along 24/7. Constructive conflict can actually be good for your relationship. But if you find that your partner has become argumentative over petty issues like your clothes or choice of restaurant, that should serve as a warning sign that he/she may be looking for an excuse to bail.
Forgetting to call. Used to be that your phone would ring all day long with your sweetie wanting to make plans or calling just to say, "I love you." Now your significant other doesn't even call when he/she is running three hours late. It may seem obvious, but going from speed dial to a blocked number is a sure sign that your relationship may be nearing its expiration date.
Changing their stripes. A major change in appearance can be a sign that your partner is looking toward greener pastures. Whether they've chopped off their hair, lost 40 pounds or gone from a bold brunette to a sultry blonde, major cosmetic changes should be noted. Of course, there's nothing wrong with being a little vain, but if the change is accompanied by any of the other signs listed here, you may need to get ready to go solo.
Criticizing. If your sweetie isn't feeling you anymore, don't be surprised if he/she becomes less tolerant of everything, from how you brush your teeth to how you tie your shoes. Constant criticism is a telltale sign that your days as a twosome are numbered.

How Much Fun Are You?

While browsing for some dating tips on the net I saw this site and tried to answer the cosmo quiz: how much fun are you? I answered 11 simple questions then I got this result :) It's quite true especially on this line You certainly like to have fun, but you never let yourself get too wild. I think George Lindemann Jr. should try this test, he will really like this, ahihihi...so he'll know if he's fun to be with or not....then if his results are not that good, I suggest him to chill out a bit with his friends and family or catch a great vacation ;)

Getting Ready For A Date

A continuation from my previous post...

Once you've accepted an invitation, you must now be ready! Prepare your clothes' colors, styles and of course your budget for it, you better check the vintage prom dresses site, they offer lots of styles and designs that will really suit your taste :) Think of your shoe style, your shoes must be comfy and stylish! Be creative, play with the basics, don't use different colors in your make-up, make it simple by using same shades. If you have a plain and simple outfit, mix it with accesories, but don't use the colored ones! you can use some golds or silvers or some pearls...don't mix everything :) Bring a small handbag for your wallet, phone and a pressed powder for the retouch, don't bring too much things, ok....if you're planning to have a hanky, use the plain one :)
